Media Account Manager
The Media Sales Manager, reporting directly to the Country Manager Italy, is an entrepreneurial management position responsible for building new, and improving existing media relationships in the market.
Developing, and implementing media trade strategies consistent with positioning the company competitively and meeting corporate objectives;
Personally managing the paperwork process to finance, legal and management in both Germany and US;
Establishing and maintaining close personal contact with top management at client and media provider;.
Developing annual media goals and the strategic plan to support the achievement of those goals;
Developing annual budget for media department;
The full P&L of the Media Department, including approval of expenses;
Monitoring media performance to insure that we are achieving our goals;
Helping the Country Manager to develop new clients and attend sales meetings that will involve media discussions.
Minimum 10 years of experience in high-level media management (advertising and media agency);
High-level media and media and agency contacts in the market;
Knowledgeable enough to create, manage and achieve annual media goals;
Experience in negotiating large media contracts;
English - full working proficiency.
Customer-service oriented, strong interpersonal skills – an ability to work with divergent interest at client and agencies;
Strong business insight;
Strong decision-making style and strong negotiating skills;
Highly organized and problem solver;
Willing and able to travel.
